What’s the difference between a Theme Upgrade and the Core Platform Upgrade?
The Core Platform Upgrade is internal and is related to the changes in new technologies used in your website to keep it compatible with all the industry standards and to assure it will work properly in all the different internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome. This upgrades become available through all the different third party developers that created all the elements that make your website 100% operational. The Core Platform Upgrade along with our Database Backup monthly service is only $9.99 per month per website compared to $100 or more per month per website that other firms charge. Besides that we offer two service plans for your convenience.
On the other hand, a Theme Upgrade is related to new features that make your website more powerful, with more options such as new capabilities for SEO (search engine optimization) so Google and other search engines can find your website easier. Other new capabilities could involve more flexibility with new options to improve the feel and look of your website, such as the ability of adding a left sidebar, or advertising capabilities, etc.
Usually a Theme Upgrade requires from one to three hours of our time to implement, test and release the website. That it’s why it requires that you purchase additional service time. However, remember that our hourly rates are way too low compared to our competitors and we offer different plans to choose from. See our service plans.
